Nearly every tap is Lake Mead water. Homeowners in Henderson and Centennial Hills fight the same scaled heaters and chalky fixtures, and so many Clark County homes end up on a softener. Installation still changes with the house. Older cores may need a loop cut in. Newer master plans in Summerlin, Enterprise, and Henderson often already have a garage loop.
We do not publish one grain number for the whole county. The site's specific figure, roughly 16 to 17 grains from the Las Vegas Valley Water District, is attached to Green Valley, not to every township. Sizing is from a test at the address. A softener does not remove chlorine.
