24/7 Emergency Plumber in North Las Vegas, NV

A burst supply line, a main line backing up, or a water heater that let go. A real person answers at any hour, and you approve a flat-rate price before anyone starts.

A plumbing emergency in North Las Vegas is mostly decided in the first ten minutes, before any truck gets there. Water that is still running is still doing damage, so the first thing we do on the phone is get you to a valve. Call (702) 840-5037, tell us what you are looking at, and we will walk you through shutting it down while a licensed plumber is routed to you.

What fails next depends on which North Las Vegas you live in, because this is really two cities sharing one name. The original core is full of houses built from the 1950s through the 1970s, carrying the oldest private plumbing and the oldest public drains in the city. The master-planned communities on the northern edge are production homes from the mid-2000s onward, where the pipe is modern and the parts attached to it are builder grade. We dispatch around the clock across all of it, from the old core in 89030 out to the newest tracts at the northern edge in 89084.

You get the same pricing at 3 AM that you would get at 3 PM. We look at the actual failure, quote a flat rate for the work, and you approve that number before anyone starts. Kingdom Plumbing is a family-owned company that has worked this valley since 2018, and we hold Nevada Contractors License #0085422.

Kingdom Plumbing is a top-rated Las Vegas plumber, and if this can't wait, our 24/7 emergency plumbers dispatch around the clock.

Your First Ten Minutes, Before We Get There

Find your main shut-off and close it. In the newer tracts north of the 215 it is usually in the garage on the wall where the line comes in, or outside near the front hose bibb. In the older core it is more often out in a side yard, sometimes close to the meter. A round gate handle needs several full turns clockwise before it actually seats, so keep going past the point where it feels tight. A quarter-turn lever is closed the moment it reaches its stop. If the handle moves freely and the water keeps running, say so when you call, because that changes what we bring.

If the water is at or near the water heater, close the cold supply valve on top of the tank and shut the unit down: the gas control to off on a gas unit, or the breaker on an electric one. Keep out of standing water anywhere near outlets, a panel, or a furnace, and leave the power to that area off. A tank leaking from the steel body itself, rather than from a fitting on top of it, is finished, and waiting only adds water to the floor.

If it is sewage, or if every drain in the house slowed at once, stop running water in the whole house. Anything you send down a drain now has nowhere to go but back into the house. Then lift boxes and furniture legs clear of the wet floor, open the cabinet doors under a leaking sink, and photograph the damage before you clean any of it up, because your insurance company will ask. Our emergency plumbing page covers the rest of what we handle on these calls.

Two Housing Eras, Two Completely Different Emergencies

In the core, the defining problem is not one pipe material but several. Decades of owners and one-off repairs have left most of those houses carrying two or three generations of pipe at once, whatever each repair happened to use at the time. The system holds until a transition between two materials corrodes, and those transitions are the most common hidden leak in the neighborhood. The drains are the same story: original laterals old enough to have shifted or cracked at a joint, feeding public mains of the same vintage. That is why a recurring backup down there gets a camera instead of a guess, and sewer and drain work starts with looking.

Up north the pipe itself is rarely the problem. Laterals in those tracts are mostly modern PVC, so a backup is usually debris rather than root intrusion. What fails instead is everything the builder attached to good pipe: angle stops that seize until the handle snaps, braided supply lines that burst rather than drip, and original tank water heaters that are now aging out across whole blocks at once because the houses went up within a few years of each other.

That split is why our first question is your address and our second is the age of the house. It tells us whether to load drain equipment or valve and heater parts, and it is usually the difference between one visit and two. Water heater service and drain work are not interchangeable, and guessing wrong at midnight costs you the night.

Where the Truck Actually Comes From

Our closest shop to North Las Vegas is on Farm Rd in the northwest valley, backed up by our main shop on W Cheyenne Ave. For the newer communities on the northern edge, that is a short run across familiar ground. For the older core along Lake Mead Boulevard, it is a genuine drive across the north side of the valley, and we are not going to tell you otherwise. What we will do is answer, take the address, route a licensed plumber, and keep you current.

We also will not quote you an arrival time we cannot keep. Trucks are where they are, and whatever is already in front of you is real. The part you control matters more anyway: with the water off, the damage stops growing, and the job shrinks from a flooring claim back to a plumbing repair.

One thing worth knowing while you are calling around at night. Overnight calls at some companies route to an answering service that takes a name and passes it along when the office opens, which is no help when a ceiling is coming down. Ask whoever picks up a single question: can you dispatch a plumber right now, or are you taking a message? Our line rings at the company doing the work, which is the whole point of saying 24/7 out loud.

What an Emergency Costs at 3 AM

Flat rate means the price is for the job and not for the hour. We look at the failure, hand you one number, and you approve it before any work starts. There is no meter running while a plumber walks back to the truck, and no figure on the invoice you never agreed to. If we open something up and find a problem nobody could have seen at the start, a line under the slab for example, we stop, show you, and requote before going further.

The typical local ranges are published so you are not negotiating blind in the middle of the night. Drain clearing runs about $150 to $450, water heater repair $150 to $600, leak detection $150 to $550, a tank water heater replacement $1,600 to $3,500 installed, and a slab leak repair $2,000 to $6,000 depending on access and method. Every one of those is a valley-wide range rather than a price on your address. The full list is in our guide to what plumbing repairs cost in Las Vegas, and current specials are posted too.

The cheapest number you can get over the phone is also the least informed one, because nobody has seen the failure yet. A low figure that assumes the simplest cause gets revised at the house, and that revision always arrives when you have the least leverage. We would rather look first and tell you the real number once. For scheduled work and everything else we do here, see our North Las Vegas plumbing page.

  • Sewage or dirty water rising in a tub, a shower pan, or a floor drain
  • A water heater weeping from the tank body instead of from a fitting
  • Any smell of gas, or a hiss near a gas line or appliance
  • Running water you can hear with every fixture in the house closed
  • You already had to shut the main off to stop it

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a 24 hour emergency plumber in North Las Vegas?
Yes. Call (702) 840-5037 whenever it happens, holiday weekends included, and the person who picks up is someone who can route a licensed plumber to you. Nobody takes your name to hand to the office on Monday. Describe what you are seeing and we will talk you through shutting the right valve while a truck is on the way.
Is this an emergency, or can it wait until morning?
Call now if water or sewage is actively spreading, if you smell gas, if a water heater is leaking from the tank body, or if you already had to close the main to stop it. Those get worse by the hour. A single slow drain, a drip, or a running toilet is worth fixing but rarely urgent, and a normal appointment usually costs you less. If you cannot tell which one you have, describe it and we will give you a straight answer.
Where is the main shut-off in a North Las Vegas house?
It depends on the era. In the newer tracts north of the 215 it is usually in the garage on the wall where the water enters, or outside near the front hose bibb. In the older core it is more often in a side yard, sometimes near the meter. The meter box at the sidewalk belongs to the water utility and needs a meter key, so it is a last resort. Find yours tonight and confirm it actually stops the water.
Does an emergency call cost more after hours?
No. The flat-rate structure is identical at midnight and at noon. We diagnose the failure, give you one number for the work, and wait for your yes before anything starts, so the time on the clock never enters the math. Typical local ranges are published too, such as drain clearing at $150 to $450 and water heater repair at $150 to $600, with the larger jobs listed in our cost guide.
Which parts of North Las Vegas do you cover for emergencies?
All of it. Aliante, Shadow Creek, Eldorado, Craig Ranch, the Downtown North Las Vegas core, and the tracts in between, plus the rest of the valley. Businesses get the same overnight answer homes do. Our closest shop to the city is on Farm Rd in the northwest valley, with our main shop on W Cheyenne Ave.
Are your emergency plumbers licensed?
Yes. Kingdom Plumbing carries Nevada Contractors License #0085422, and the person who shows up on an overnight call is a licensed plumber. We are family-owned and have worked the Las Vegas valley since 2018.
